weight loss drinksToday, I’m going to touch briefly on weight loss drinks as one of my tips for rapid weight loss…

After being locked in my home office working mindlessly for the past three days, I decided to take a drive out for dinner. On my way back, I stopped by at a petrol kiosk to pick up some drinks, including two low-fat iced canned mocha and coffee - my favorite drinks before I embarked on losing weight seriously.

So, as I happily resumed work, I opened the can of mocha and drank a mouthful. As I became curious of what the energy of the can may be, I decided to take a good look… and almost spit out the last mouthful that I drank!

Oh my… it was 126kcal for that can of drink. You know, in those days, especially when I take long drives up country, I would pack at least half a dozen cans and probably drink 3 to 4 cans a day - that’s already 400 to 500 kcal; now I know why my weight never went down.

Immediately, I put away that innocent looking low-fat iced mocha for now - well, perhaps I’ll take another sip later…

And this seemingly trivial incident reminded me to share this as one of my tips for rapid weight loss with you: make sure the ‘weight loss’ drinks you take with your meals is between 10 to 20 kcal. Anything more your effort will be wasted though you may eat a small quantity or avoid fatty foods. Now you have been warned. Stay tuned for more tips tomorrow.
