Are you willing to take liposuction risks?
Would you opt for this procedure due to the liposuction risks involved?
According to Wikipedia, liposuction is a cosmetic surgery operation that removes fat from many different sites on the human body. Liposuction is not a low-effort alternative to exercise and diet. It is a form of body contouring with significant attendant risks and is not a weight loss method. The amount of fat removed varies by doctor, method, and patient, but is typically less than 10 pounds (5 kg).
In fact, a few hours ago, I heard this on the radio while driving… that Singapore’s Ministry of Health is coming up with new regulations on liposuction, and it is now seeking feedback on its proposals.
In a nutshell, any clinic that offers liposuction on its premises must obtain prior approval from the ministry and meet specific licensing conditions. Plus, a doctor who wishes to practise liposuction must have undergone at least one year of surgical training following housemanship, and must have attended relevant liposuction-specific education and training. My personal comment on this is that we should attempt some natural weight loss methods instead of resorting to liposuction… unless it’s a severe medical condition of gross overweight that have life and death danger.
In view of the many risks associated with obesity, we should all spread the message that we can take control of our weight and take measures to lose fats today!
hi! with the dangers that liposuction pose, i think men and women who’re thinking of going into the procedure should think otherwise and resort to natural ways of losing weight and reducing fat cells.
