The FatLoss4Idiots healthy weight loss diet plan is really working!

Feeling at the top of the world, a week after I got back to Singapore from Penang, Malaysia, my weight went down to another NEW Low - even lower than when I completed my diet earlier…

Woohoo… I’m at 79.6 kg and could feel my pants getting looser by the day :-)

As you can see, there’s still a bit to cut down on the middle portion… before I can realistically achieve my goal of 73.0 kg by end of 2008.

Setting a weight loss goal and declaring it to the world is really good - it truly helps me to stay on track.

By doing some simple math, there’s another 6.6 kg to go for the next 6 months. So, I’m pretty confident to reach that goal as it works out to merely 1.1 kg per month.

… well, I learned how to divide and conquer especially during my marathon days where I focus on reaching the next lamp post rather than the finishing post which seem so far away.

Similarly, by focusing on 1 kg each is really not asking for too much - so my goal for end June 08 will be 78.4 kg (a drop of 1.2 kg).

Plus, now I have an excellent and healthy weight loss diet plan - the FatLoss4Diets plan - that I can resort to… to lose a couple of pounds easily in just 10 or 11 days… and all these weight loss tips that I accumulated over the last few years!

FatLoss4Idiots Case Study 2 (final): Day 11 for Diet by DIET GENERATOR

rogerjkt.jpgFinally, I completed the first run of the 11-day diet that’s generated by the ONLINE DIET GENERATOR.

Did I lose 9 pounds as promised?

Well, no… but I did lose nearly half of that.

Am I sad?

Not at all…

First, because I have reached my lowest weight (the first time below 80 kg) in 18 years… now at 79.8 kg !!! So, as a matter of fact, I’m exhilarated.

Second, I know now that I have a trump card on hand whereby I can go on this (11-day) or the other (10-day) diet at any time. Because it’s just one week plus, it’s reasonably easier to follow.

And frankly, I’m glad that this diet is a natural weight loss diet and not some fad diet that promises one to lose 20 to 30 pounds in 3 weeks or something like that. Perhaps, those diets work… but personally, I felt that there’s no need to lose so much in such a short time which could even lead to complications as the body might not be able to cope with such a drastic change.

I prefer the 10-day diet where I simply choose my food according to the day’s specification of how many meals of protein, how many are carbo, and how many are mixed. This 11-day diet is slightly more effective in terms of loosing pounds but need more effort in preparation of food in advance. But of course, that’s an individual preference.

In summary, the Fat Loss for Idiots diets are effective and realistic and will definitely help you to loose a few pounds quickly and easily.

FatLoss4Idiots Case Study 2 (cont’d): Day 9 for Diet by DIET GENERATOR

Having completed 9 days of the 11-day FatLoss4Idiots diet, I was elated as I hit the scale on the morning of Day 10!

Wow! I couldn’t believe my eyes…

After 4 straight days of maintaining my lowest weight in 10 years at 80.4 kg, now the scale shows 80.0 kg!!!

That’s probably my New! LOWEST WEIGHT in about 15 years as far as I can remember. (Hey… it’s hard to put in words the joy that I’m experiencing… that finally, I’m beginning to get where I want to… though there’s still quite a distance to go.)

So far, since beginning this diet 9 days ago at 81.4 kg, I’ve lost 1.4 kg - well, that looks like still a lot short of the 4 kg or 9 pounds that the program promised, but I’m still really glad - some of you in the same situation would surely relate to what I said…

Two more days more to go… what’s the final result? Stay tuned.

FatLoss4Idiots Case Study 2 (cont’d): Mid-Plan Progress for Diet by DIET GENERATOR

rogerjkt.jpgIt already past the half way mark of my 1st trial of following the 11-day diet plan generated by the FatLoss4Idiots Diet Generator.

I’m neither happy nor sad…

Happy because I hit my ALL-TIME LOW body weight of 80.4 kg again (from 81.4 kg when I started more than 6 days ago) for THREE straight days in a row! Plus… this is something I have not talked about before… my body fat percentage dropped a percentage point to 25% - my lowest for the last decade!

FatLoss4Idiots Case Study 2 (cont’d): Delicious Prawns…

Not bad, right? I never knew that dieting can be such fun :-)

What I did was simply follow the menu that FatLoss4Idiots generated by its Diet Generator…

Although it takes a bit of getting used to - I mean, having a hunger feeling on and off on Day 1 due to the lack of noodles or rice - I managed to end the day with delicious shrimps according to the diet. Yummy!

Day 2 was a lot more challenging… with fruits, fruits and fruits. And, now I’m looking forward to Day 3 as I can see a lot of nice food there.

For now, I simply don’t want to check my weight yet but I know there’s definitely some drop…

FatLoss4Idiots: Post-diet Surprise!

This morning - 4 days after I completed the 10-day diet - I woke up to a sweet surprise as I lose another slice of fat, reaching my ALL TIME LOW of 80.8 kg!

In fact, I gave myself a break after completing the diet 4 days ago and I was literally eating junk food like laksa (popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture, which is a merger of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia and Singapore) and satay beehoon (translates literally to ‘rice vermicelli in peanut sauce’).

Thus, I actually gained a bit of weight over the last three days… and now, this morning, I lost them all. I can’t tell you how overjoyed I was :-) Click here for more information about this diet.

Day 9 - 6th Apr 2008

Still weighing in at 81.0 kg (or 181 lbs).

Day 10 - 7th Apr 2008

Finally, I reached Day 10. However, the Diet Menu was staring at me with these words: “Begin with Day 1 again”

That being the case, I decided to take a break before doing these 10 days (oops… should be 9 days because Day 10 instructs me to go back to Day 1) .

SUMMARY:

Over the last 10 days, I managed to drop 1.6 kg (3.5lbs). I did not follow the diet nor the exercise strictly - I probably fulfil around 70%.

But the BEST part is that… I was indeed looking forward to food in most of the days - deciding on what to eat in the next meal. It was fun and rewarding because this diet is not totally strict. And I can do the diet any time from beginning - it’s really not hard to follow.

Day 5 - 2nd Apr 2008

Still weighing in at 81.6 kg (or 181 lbs) which is the same as Day 4.

Glad I could maintain this weight which is 1 kg (2.2 lbs) lesser than when I started.

Day 6 - 3rd Apr 2008

I jumped with joy when I hit the scales this morning!

This is my ABSOLUTE LOWEST body weight in the last 5 years: weighing in at 81.0 (178.2 lbs)!!!

Can you imagine how happy I was? In fact, I sent out text messages to a few of my close friends and they were all so envious :-)

Day 7 - 4th Apr 2008

Oops…

Got a bit saddened when my weight shot up a few notches up to 81.4 kg (179.1 lbs) :-(

What can I say? I didn’t follow even the light walking exercises recommended. Today I’m going all out to do just that!

Day 8 - 5th Apr 2008

Glad I went back down to 81.0 kg (178.2 lbs) this morning.

I vow to follow the recommended diet of proteins and carbs according to the specified proportions closely.

rogerjkt.jpgI’ve been trying to lose weight for the past year with mild success though I’ve read several books including one by a medical doctor specializing in weight loss.

There’s nothing wrong with what they teach - in fact, I learned a ton of knowledge about weight loss from them. It’s either there is no fixed diet (with just general principles) or the diets are too specific…

Then I chanced upon FatLoss4Idiots which was becoming very popular too. So, I decided to give it a shot and follow the DIET MANUAL that gives a specific 10-day diet and yet allows flexibility in what I choose for my meals.

And that’s exactly what I need - something simple to follow and yet effective (I hope).

This is Part 1 of 3 of my own case study which I like to share that documents the results of my 1st 4 days as I followed the diet closely and yet not too strictly:

Day 1 - 29th Mar 2008

Weighing in at 82.6 kg (or 181.7 lb), I began to follow the this 10-day diet. I ate 4 meals and took a 30-min walk (which fell short of the 45-min that is recommended).

Day 2 - 30th Mar 2008

I was disappointed as my weight actually increased a notch to 82.8 kg (182.1 lb). Feeling frustrated, I still followed the 4 meals but skipped the recommended exercise totally!

Day 3- 31st Mar 2008

Hey… I was a little surprised as my weight dropped to 82.4 kg (181.3 lb) which was even lower than when I started. I resumed and took a 30-min walk.

Day 4 - 1 Apr 2008

Today is April Fool’s Day - but this is NOT a joke… my weight actually plummeted to 81.6 kg (179.5 lb)!

That’s already 2.2 lb in 3 days and I didn’t even follow the diet and exercise strictly :-) And now it seems possible to reach the bold promise of losing 9 lbs in 11 days!!

Well, I’m thoroughly motivated to lose weight now and look forward to the next few days… it’s EXCITING!
